daresay

Made up of George McCanna (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Harvey Fenny (lead guitar), Aoibhín Clarke (vocals, rhythm guitar) and Thomas Pargeter (vocals, bass guitar), daresay are a DIY indie rock band from Sussex. Having spent years in and around each other’s lives, collaborating on projects throughout their teens and early twenties, the four-piece have now come together in a new form with daresay. Drawing on a lineage of open, literate indie songwriting, the band’s sound carries touches of The Dismemberment Plan, The Districts and Frightened Rabbit, arriving with a sense of weight, melancholy and restraint.
